I'm Back!


Well, I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted! Oh well. Back and ready to go for the holidays. I thought I would show some of my Halloween decor! It' one of my fav holidays! These cute spiders are addicting! You just can't stop at one-I promise. Whip up a bunch of them-they are fun and you will find tons of places these cuties can go! I got the idea for the hurricane from Martha a few years ago. I took a spider stamp and ink and stamped the image around the glass. Then I threw in some black beans. The black garland around the base is nothing more than X-mas decor spray painted black-I love the look it gives-kinda spookified!
The BEWARE sign is Dollar Tree from last year-just added some bling-bling to it.

My wreath was sooo much fun to make. Who knew I would be using X-mas decorations for a Halloween wreath? I took a Dollar Tree pine garland and spray painted it black. Then I took the little X-mas picks and spray painted them orange.


The skulls got a little face-lift with some glitter! And there you have it!

So yesterday was such a bad day that I am not even gonna post it! :( Let's just say that it involved Taco Bell! I did however make the Tomato Soup w/ grilled cheese for din-din-they were delish! Today I am making the veggie minestrone soup, it is day 2 of nasty rains!

Breakfast: Coffee and oatmeal w/ 2 tsp brown sugar and 1/4 c mixed nuts/berries
Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich, 1 cup tomato soup, soda and tangelo
Snack: Frozen bananas w/Nuttella sauce
Dinner: Veggie soup, 2 pieces of garlic bread and Cesar salad
Dessert: 5 spoonfuls of cookie dough

Menu # 3

OK! This week I HAVE TO STICK TO MY MENU!!!! My mom fell and broke her wrist a couple of weeks ago, so we have been over there a bunch helping her out and I have been making meals over there....this week I really wanna try to use what I plan out. Some of the recipes are yet again pushed back since I never got to them last week :(

Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Homemade Mac and Cheese, Brown Sugar glazed carrots

Homemade Pizza (TJ's whole wheat dough-cheese, peperoni, olives and mushrooms)

Slow Cooker Veggie Minestrone Soup w/ Garlic Cheese Bread

I want to make some pudding pops and have a low-cal dessert. I have been craving ice-cream lately.....maybe this will help!?
Breakfast: 4 pancakes and tall FF Carmel Machiato
Lunch: 1/2 Buffalo Ranch Chix Sandwich and fries from Applebees
Dinner: Pot Pie and salad
